The class started with a discussion about comics we saw a TED talk video about an artist. The video was really inspiring. Later we were asked to draw squares and fill it with a line and a dot to describe my happy place. The activity at first was really a tough for me but as I went on I actually realised how I felt being in my happy place.
We went on with the assignment and this time we were not allowed to use any shapes or known forms to depict our feelings. We were given many situations like how I felt when I was frustrated, overeat, wake up at 5, loose my favourite object, fight with my best friend, meet somebody I hate and now. The activity was done really quick which help me depict my real emotions.
Finally, we were given five topics and we had to fill five boxes of each topic. In the beginning I was afraid to do it but as I went on I realised how I truly feel about something by using just lines and dots. Although it was quite challenging, I had the freedom to express my self and discover myself. I realised how I behave, feel and react to various things so differently. To conclude, it was a really great experience.
